Our Policies
A Commitment to Safety, Quality, and Transparency
Welcome to the policy centre for Innsworth Preschool. These documents are the foundation of our practice, designed to support a safe, high-quality, and compliant environment for every child. They explain how we meet statutory requirements, including the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), safeguarding duties, and health and safety standards.
When you join Innsworth Preschool, your relationship with us is governed by your signed Parent Provider Agreement. Please note that acceptance of a place at our setting constitutes an agreement to adhere to the policies published on this page. While the Parent Provider Agreement outlines the core financial and contractual terms, the policies below detail the operational procedures and standards of behaviour required to keep our community safe. We ask all families to read them carefully to ensure a consistent and positive experience for everyone.
We review our policies at least annually and update them when required, for example following changes to statutory guidance or operational learning. Continued attendance after the notice period indicates acceptance of these updated terms and procedures, unless you notify us otherwise in line with our standard notice period.
As a family run preschool, we believe in clear and documented communication to avoid misunderstandings. We prefer that questions regarding fees, invoices, or policy interpretation be submitted in writing to our office email. This ensures accuracy and allows us to look into the matter fully before responding. We aim to acknowledge written queries within 2 working days and provide a full response within 10 working days. If you require support to communicate or need information in an alternative format, please let us know, and we will happily accommodate you.
To ensure the safety and constant supervision of all children, please note that staff are not authorised to discuss complex administrative or financial queries at the door during drop-off and collection times. However, if your query is urgent, relates to a child’s immediate welfare, or is a safeguarding concern, please speak to the Manager or your child’s Key Person immediately.
These policies have been updated for the April 2026 changes.
