Our Policies

Our policies explain how we keep children safe, meet our legal and statutory duties, and operate the preschool day to day. They include important information about areas such as safeguarding, health and safety, behaviour, fees, funding, sickness, complaints, equality, special educational needs and the standards of conduct expected from families and staff.

As part of the enrolment process, parents and carers acknowledge that they have access to these policies, that they have read or will read the relevant documents, and that they understand they are responsible for following the latest versions published here.

Our policies are reviewed regularly and may be updated throughout the year to reflect changes in law, statutory guidance, funding rules, operational practice, safeguarding requirements or lessons learned from the day-to-day running of the setting.

Because early years requirements and preschool operations can change, families should always refer to the latest versions published on this page. Where we make significant changes that directly affect families, we may draw attention to them where appropriate. However, routine updates, wording improvements or compliance updates may be made without separate individual notice.

Continued attendance at Innsworth Preschool means families agree to follow the latest policies and procedures in place.

If you have a question about a policy, fee, invoice or administrative matter, please contact us in writing so we can review your query properly and respond accurately. Staff are not able to discuss complex administrative or financial queries at the door during drop-off and collection, as their priority is supervising and caring for the children. If your concern is urgent or relates to a child’s immediate welfare or safeguarding, please speak to the Manager or your child’s Key Person straight away.
